I am so sick and tired of people refusing to acknowledge that there are two sides to the neuter issue. And before I get blasted - YES I have done rescue work and volunteered in shelters.
I understand the overpopulation problems but I do not think this current trend towards juvenile neutering is beneficial to the long term health of the animal.
When trying to advise people of the pros AND cons of neutering (especially juvenile) I have received abusive emails, been told that I have no idea what I'm talking about, been told that there are NO cons to neutering and that anything from the Internet is suspect so cannot be believed.
I'm in NO WAY advocating random breeding or that every animal should be kept entire but trying to point out that there are two points of view.
