My 4 year old TWH mare came in on Friday (It's now Monday) with a slightly swollen fetlock on her left hind leg. Its above the joint mostly. She is not limping at all, but she is known for not showing any pain when there is some, unless its severe. I've been cold-hosing it for 20 minutes twice daily and giving her a half gram of bute twice daily as well. She is in a small paddock by herself (Next to other horses- they can touch noses but that's it) during the day and in her stall at night.
The swelling appears to get better with walking- so I've been taking her for little walks around the property to keep her little 4 year old brain sane. She is usually very playful and active with the other horses, and by herself, and when I turned her out into the arena to roll she just
