Black Americans have historically taken control and created their own popular entertainment in music, film, tv, fashion. They took control of their own image, created their own aesthetics. Made themselves attractive in a way that put themselves in control.
When will we see Asian Americans doing the same?
There appears to be a LOT of on-line whining and complaining about the way the media portrays Asian males in particular. I kinda want to say: well, if you continue to avoid working in the entertainment industry, what do you expect....?
Males naturally compete with each other. Entertainment made by White men will therefore, logically, portray White men as the most attractive. Entertainment made by Black men will logically portray Black men as the most attractive.
