I am currently a sophomore in college and i am an undeclared business major. I am thinking about majoring in accounting. I took financial and managerial accounting and both were pretty easy for me and only class i really enjoyed. I know there is harder and challenging class once you declare but accounting is the only thing that sticks out in my mind for something i would be interested in, is anyone a acct. major or an accountant that can give me so tips or advice. I do not want to regret my decision later on and realize i hate accounting.

How to play download movies on bluray player?
I have some hd movies (720p) downloaded in my hdd. I like to burn them onto dvds so that I can play them in my bluray player without losing resolution. Tried to transcode them with software like MULTIAVICHD without success. Any help from guys who done it before will be much appreciated.

Why isn't this guy willing to be in a relationship?
I've been seeing the same guy for 5 months. He tells me that I'm "rad" (his roundabout and passive way of telling me that he likes me) and has professed that he is committed to me and only me. Yet, when I ask him what he thinks of us, he never gives a clearcut response. I asked him if he thought of me as a girlfriend, and he said "not yet" but that he considers us "dating."
All this time, we haven't had sex because I told him that I would need to be in a relationship before I do that. Conversely, he's expressed to me that he would like to do "other stuff" before getting into a relationship. blastic and lytic lesions on bone?
2 yrs ago I had a abnormal bone scan. Blastic lesions where what they were called at that time on the left femur, up the spine, and on the sternum. 2 yrs later repeat bone scan, mroe blastic, lytic lesions on most of the vertebraes, all of the sternum and now the sacrum. Have seen 3 oncologists. One suggested pagets disease. Yesterday I had a bone biopsy done. Can anyone tell me the definition for lytic and blastic lesion, or how my lesions could be called this for 2 yrs with no other examination till this new oncologist? Now I wait 5 days for answers. Oncologist said it is not arthritis, blood work doesnt show pagets, and she feels it would not be breast cancer. 31 yr old female.

What is the best way to go about geting a job?
Okay, I have no experience in many useful things, I have a Diploma of Arts which is great to have but doesn't make me attractive to employers... If I get a job interview I'm either too nervous, too "myself", or come off too uptight and distracted because I'm trying not to be either of the two former.
The thing is, I don't want any of the jobs I apply for, I just need the money. Hence, when they ask "why do you want this job?" I don't know what to say.
It's hard to get work doing what I love - theatre - and it's even harder to find paying jobs in that area. So until I get a decent acting job, I have to rely on Centrelink for money, who in turn want me applying for at least 10 jobs a fortnight. That is hard to do because there's just not enough jobs to apply for! And around and around

Etiquette: My S.O. bought a birthday gift returned/downgraded it then regave it for Xmas. What should I do?
My birthday was at the end of November and my SERIOUS significant other (S.O.) surprised me with a first time expensive gift ($ 900) which was an electronic item that I really needed. I was there when it was purchased--I was surprised while making an impromptu pitstop to the electronic store to use the restroom on Thanksgiving. The gift malfunctioned within two weeks and my S.O. took the gift to return it for a more "reliable" item. We had an unrelated argument the next day (our 1st serious one w/i five months of dating) and when we made up my SO said that they would give me a new one for Xmas. I need some gym lessons?
I'm a student teacher (pre service teacher.) and for my Health and PE class my class partner and I need to create a folder with 10 activities or lesson plans if I can find any for each type of physical activity. One of the ones I have to do is Gym. I'm not sure what activities that involves, and all I really have right now are games, and things for really little kids- the stuff for the bigger kids involving equipment makes no sense to me at this point. I am not sporty, this is a compulsory subject. Since there's a Games of Low Organisation section of the folder, I don't want too many games. I also seem to have too much on balance. How do I find instructions for other gym activities? What else does gym involve? I need things for a variety of age groups.

What jobs would suit me?
i like fashion (not designing) i love work which involves working with computers and phones. i like to have multiple tasks, travelling i dont mind, i like a challenge. i was thinking celebrity personal assistant but i would probably have to move out of australia ! it needs to have big pay aswell! any info is appreciated!

How do I save downloaded movies to my computer to be burned?
I have used MP3 Rocket and can download movies, but cant view them, because most are in avi format. I downloaded dvd flick-which to my understanding can reformat it?? What are some creative careers?
I am recently out of highschool and struggling to make up my mind about what to further study. I have taken several career tests and they all say I am an artistic and entersprising type. Can't really stand in a kayak or Canoe but is cheaper and lighter to cart around to isolated spots. Tinny is heavier more expensive but more room and can stand to cast. Opinions???

What is a good short, boyish hairstyle for a girl?

I would like to work from home for personal reasons as such. next, I don't want any answers about paid surveys, i have been down that road, and it wasn't a nice road. I am not looking to get rich over night or even over time, i just want to have a decent income, i am not afraid of hard work.

My son spilt orange juice on our brushed slate hearth. It seems to have bleached lighter spots on the hearth which I have tried to get rid of with washing up liquid, with no luck. The surface is so smooth, I am not inclined to use anything abrasive as this would scratch the surface. Any suggestions?

"One QALY roughly means another year of life of average quality of an average person, i.e. neither an ecstatically happy nor an ecstatically unhappy year. You should read this table (in reference to the QALY cost table) to mean that some policy in the 1000 - 10 000 range is a policy whereby one has to spend in between 1000 to 10 000 Euros for another QALY."

Different wire types in computers?
I am wiring up a sata power cable, i came across a problem im not very good with wire types so ill just give you the colour. The sata cable has a bronze colour wire, and the molex cable has a silver colour wire. What type of wires are these and will they work if they are connected together?

I have 969 emails stored in a Yahoo Mail folder. If I open them one at a time and then copy them to a M/S Word document it will take forever. How can I automate this process ?
Alternatively, how can I copy the whole folder and its contents to a word document in a small number of simple actions ?

My fiance has been asked to say a speech at his cousins wedding. This question is for people who have stayed in hotels / motels / serviced apartments on the Gold Coast (Queensland, Australia). I'm asking on here because I've noticed the star ratings for accommodation there have slipped and I don't feel I can trust them.

My daycare worker is good with my kids, but she's been bugging me lately about my kids.
Ok, so my kids eat mostly junk food-they don't like vegies and fruit much and they just have to eat one bite of fruit and vegie every day otherwise I let them eat what they want. I know other parents don't do this but this is my way, right? And my kids don't go hungry I fix them stuff all the time.
A couple weeks back my daycare worker started on me about my kids diet, and she's getting worse. She gives me all this pamphlets and stuff about kid nutrition. I told her already I know but I'll raise my kids how I see fit.

I posted this in the womens health section but mostly they would be teenagers who know no better?
anyway I will ask here hopefully with some mature answers from mature people. Ok I will be 40 in a couple of weeks and going through early menopause based on my current hormone tests and absent menses and symptoms. anyway I also got my Iron tests back and in one month it has gone from borderline low to very low, this is my ferritin. I find it SO difficult to get out of bed when I wake up at about 3-4 pm in the afternoon!!!!!!!. I am so tired it feels like I am about to die sometimes. I am so anemic, exhausted, drained, fatigued I cannot do much. Is this My Iron or menopause that is making me like this? what will happen if my feritin continues to drop like it does now? I do not eat red meat YUCK as I am a vegetarian. Iron tabs I will not take as it makes me constipated. so does anyone

I am so sick and tired of people refusing to acknowledge that there are two sides to the neuter issue. And before I get blasted - YES I have done rescue work and volunteered in shelters.
I understand the overpopulation problems but I do not think this current trend towards juvenile neutering is beneficial to the long term health of the animal.
When trying to advise people of the pros AND cons of neutering (especially juvenile) I have received abusive emails, been told that I have no idea what I'm talking about, been told that there are NO cons to neutering and that anything from the Internet is suspect so cannot be believed.
I'm in NO WAY advocating random breeding or that every animal should be kept entire but trying to point out that there are two points of view.

How do I get my firewall to allow Yahoo Messenger to utilize a webcam session?
When attempting to start a webcam session in Yahoo Messenger, I receive the "Sorry, you appear to be behind a firewall and are currently unable to use the Yahoo! Webcam service". This is odd because Messenger is on the Windows Firewall exception list and the exception list I have for another security application, Trend Micro PC-cillin. I turned off both firewalls off just to see if it would work, and I still received the same message. Does anyone know what is causing this problem?

My 4 year old TWH mare came in on Friday (It's now Monday) with a slightly swollen fetlock on her left hind leg. Its above the joint mostly. She is not limping at all, but she is known for not showing any pain when there is some, unless its severe. I've been cold-hosing it for 20 minutes twice daily and giving her a half gram of bute twice daily as well. She is in a small paddock by herself (Next to other horses- they can touch noses but that's it) during the day and in her stall at night.

I read an ad that seemed to be from Sydney. It was for alternative tablets for weight loss and the two had to be taken together. The ad seemed okay so I purchased the trial tabs. The order was from Panama and I thought well if I don't get them i will only have wasted 25 dollars I did get them and all was well. Until I noticed that my card must have been intercepted and in the last 15 days I have had 4 alien charges along with associated bank charges from Panama in excess of $ 395.00

What are Asian Americans doing to actively change the negative image of them in media and entertainment?
Black Americans have historically taken control and created their own popular entertainment in music, film, tv, fashion. They took control of their own image, created their own aesthetics. Made themselves attractive in a way that put themselves in control.

Someone with financial mathematics expertise (particularly compund interest) please take a look...?
I have been asked to "Find the future value of $ 500 invested for a period of 4 years, at 10% p.a. compounded annually. This part I can understand:
$ 500(1.1)^4 = $ 732.05
But then it says: "What if the interest was compounded daily?"
Well, the way I tried to work this out is as follows:
500(1.1/365)^1460
Too which the calculator answers: "0"
Do I have the formula for daily compound interest wrong? Or is it that the calculator cannot compute the answer?
How to operate a financial calculator. I use an HP 10bII. Knowing how to use this will ensure professional packaging of notes for sale so that you may assign their purchase contracts to an investor like myself for an assignment fee.

Should I continue doing this or bank the $ 150 pw into a 7.6% savings account (such as ING) and make 1 or 2 lump sum payments per year into the mortgage?
There are online calculators for lump sum payments, but they only calculate one offs, not annual lump sum payments.

Thinking of a career change - im already a stripper - advice?
I have qualifications in media but i had to leave my job at a magazine full time due to pressure and stress. I currently strip as well as write part time for some magazines. I dont strip at a club i just do it privately so im not earning huge money but i dont want to be working in a big club in the city because i prefer being a bit more anonymous.
Anyway there is an erotic massage place right near my house that pays really good money that i am considering moving in to. I really want to travel which i have not been able to afford to do enough of and dont want to wait ages to do it. I am single right now after dating a client that was kind of a disaster. I really dont care that much about what guys think of me doing a job like that - if i start dating someone i will quit.

Is an economics major from a top tier school better than a finance degree from a 3rd tier?
Right now I'm doing a finance degree at a third tier state school at the business college. I have the option of going to a top tier school out of state but getting into the business school is unlikely. I would get an economics degree from the libral arts school and minor in business. So many people, especially women who are concerned they may be pregnant or have other health/medical conditions, post questions here on Yahoo Answers, looking for genuine answers if not advice to their health matters and problems.

I majored in Business/Marketing in college and started working as an account executive at an advertising agency. I hate it. I miss working with numbers (math was always my strength) and have found out (maybe too late) that I am highly uncomfortable in the unpredictable, creative and sometimes too lax environment of the ad industry.
